A charming, meaningful comedy depicting the struggles of a large family living in abject poverty. The eldest brother drops out of school to work and support his mother and seven siblings, ensuring they all graduate and get married. Eventually, he realizes he has reached his forties—having let life pass him by—and has lost a romance that spanned fifteen years.
