On 21st November 2004, Ahmet Kaymaz and his son Uğur were killed in front of their house in Kızıltepe, Mardin, by military men who suspected them of being terrorists. Uğur, who was 12 then, was shot by 13 bullets, and his father by eight bullets which were fired at close range. They had no gun.
