Tokyo is an ensemble drama that focuses on young people who have come to Tokyo from different parts of Japan for various reasons. Each of them has their own thoughts and circumstances. As they live their lives in the city, the film explores what makes them choose to remain in Tokyo and what eventually makes them decide to leave. Inspired by the song “Tokyo” by plenty, the film portrays the hopes, struggles, and uncertainties of young people trying to find their place in the vast city.
