

Upon her father’s death, a sole child, only want to pray her father peacefully. But she cannot fulfill her desire due to tradition, which forces her to take care her father’s funeral. She being forced to pay everyone who takes care of the funeral at a predetermined tariff, including the ones praying for the deceased. She knew it was wrong and she refused to follow, but she continues to be pressured by her aunt and some neighbors to keep up the tradition. She also experienced a dilemma, must follow the tradition for the smoothness of his father's burial or remain in her stand. Many families in West Java, Indonsia left behind by the deceased experience a great sense of sadness and being burdened to face traditions that they didn’t actually approved.
