"The Red Mansion" is a drama film written and directed by Yang Xiaozhong, starring Jin Chuan and Yan Huizhu The film tells the story of two sisters who come with their their mother to the Jia residence to celebrate Jia Zhen’s birthday during the reigns of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty.
