'Straight' is set in the United States of Chaeronea, a world where homosexuality is the accepted norm, and heterosexuals are the shamed minority. Wes Kimbark is an attorney seeking justice when a college student commits suicide after being forcibly outed as a straight. The particulars of the case give Kimbark the courage to come out of the closet as straight himself, an action that proves to be dangerous for him both professionally and personally.
