A couple arrives with their two-year-old daughter at the remote farmhouse Skogsbo. But everything is not as it should be. The tap water is brown, and there is no key to the basement. When their daughter recognizes herself in a forty-year-old photograph, her parents initially dismiss it. But over the weekend, they realize that a terrible tragedy occurred in the house forty years earlier. No one leaves Skogsbo until the door to the basement is opened.
