The dismay of North Africans living in France in the 1980s. For the girls, born for the most part in France and attending French schools, they experience the difficulty of understanding and adapting for their parents in the face of this new world, these new mores, relegated among themselves to housing projects, HLM breeding grounds of economic cannon fodder. Jamila has a French friend who bursts into her family with his culture. From this situation arises misunderstandings and unease, which widen the gap between parents and their daughter. A story where tenderness, heartbreak and suffering combine.
