Although Jack returns to Encarnación, the village in Paraguay where we imagine he spent his childhood, it is first and foremost the triggering event for a stage. A voyage like a passage. In the forest, he is alone in the face of the forces of nature. Both fully present here and yet completely elsewhere, he looks for the tangible elements of a reality that is escaping him: he tries to find the place he was when he learnt of the death of his grandmother, although he was on another continent…
