Set in Infanta, Quezon, the story follows 15-year-old orphan Niño as he joins preparations for the town’s month-long Mayohan celebration and its culminating event, the pasayaw. Grieving the loss of his parents and navigating adolescence, Niño becomes drawn to Lilibeth, 19, the pasayaw’s elected president, who is struggling with the pressures surrounding the festivities. As gender, generational, and class divides emerge, the two form an unlikely partnership in search of belonging, growth, and acceptance.
