BiS: Road to Budokan Kokugikan "Who Killed Idol?"

"Who Killed Idol?" — On 16 March 2013 the Japanese alternative idol group BiS (Brand-new idol Society), who had made a Nippon Budokan show their stated goal, took on the 10,000-capacity Ryogoku Kokugikan sumo hall in Tokyo. This is the complete record of that night: the finale of their first national one-man tour, and the last stage for Yurika Wakisaka, whose departure had already been announced. Pour Lui, Nozomi Hirano, Yufu Terashima, Rio Michibayashi and Wakisaka open with a cover of TRF's "survival dAnce ~no no cry more~" and fire off eight songs before a single word of MC, playing "nerve", "My Ixxx" and "IDOL" beneath a giant banner of the band's Ramones-parody crest. From a satellite stage out on the floor they announce a new-member audition and a seven-night August run at Shimokitazawa SHELTER, then deliver "primal." and "YELL!!". Two encores later "Let it be" closes 26 songs, played to some 4,000 fans with the upper tier shut off.
