On 4 March 2018 the Japanese idol group BiS closed their 2ND BEGiNNiNG TOUR with a sold-out show at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, staged under the banner WHO KiLLED IDOL?? Five thousand fans filled the sumo arena for a night that doubled as the farewell of Pour Lui, the singer who founded BiS in 2010 and drove its 2016 relaunch. Seven members open the concert hidden beneath white shrouds with scythes in hand, then tear through twenty-one songs spanning the group's whole history, from early provocations such as nerve and My Ixxx to primal. and the newly unveiled WHOLE LOTTA LOVE. Late in the set Pour Lui delivers a long, unguarded goodbye, calling BiS both the greatest blot on her life and her greatest pride. The remaining six return for the encore in new costumes, declare "we are BiS", and begin again without her.
