The story follows Charles Nainggolan, a 30-year-old man of Batak descent who grew up in Jakarta and must deal with family pressure regarding marriage—especially when his younger sister, Lydia Nainggolan, plans to get married first. This is where various problems begin to arise. What starts out as a simple matter escalates into a series of hilarious events as love, ego, family, and tradition collide under one roof. Amid all this chaos, Charles must also grapple with a question that may be familiar to many: to what extent should family have a say in matters of marriage?
