Asmara is a general practitioner at a local hospital. She is married to Firman, and together they have a daughter named Cantika, or Caca. They lead a harmonious life in the modest home they recently purchased. One day, Firman is invited to his high school reunion but is reluctant to attend, feeling that he has not yet achieved financial stability. Encouraged by Asmara, he finally agrees to go and meets up with old friends: Chico, Bagas, and Tita. He also runs into a former junior student, Intan, who now presents a religious image and is developing a boutique business specializing in modest Muslim fashion.
