Forty years after the invasion, Zehra, a Turkish Cypriot woman, visits her beloved Greek Cypriot neighbour, Maroula, in the southern part of Cyprus. She hopes to thank Maroula’s son, who saved their lives during the events of 1974, and to find out where her own son is buried. Although her questions remain unanswered, the truths that emerge about their shared losses bring the two women closer than ever.
