New York independent filmmaker and provocateur Caveh Zahedi is known for putting his entire life on camera in pursuit of truth. In 2022, he decided to stage a production of James Joyce's Ulysses with barely any money and just a month to write, cast and rehearse. Ulysses, New York documents the chaos in Zahedi's distinctive, intensely confessional style, self-reflexive to the point of collapse. We present a work-in-progress version of the first chapter of a planned 24-hour epic.
