Георгий нашего времени

In a sense, our film is about all the Russian volunteers, those who took up arms in the summer of 2014 and went to fight, defending the women and children of Luhansk and Donetsk, their beliefs, and the Russian world as they saw and understood it. It's terrifying to think about our compatriots caught up in a war that will soon be thirteen years old, but which, it seems, we still haven't fully comprehended. Our protagonist, Georgy, has been a volunteer since 2014, a very young man at the time, but already an experienced special forces officer. Today, Georgy is the commander of a "shturm" platoon—that is, assault infantry—in the 6th Motorized Rifle Cossack Brigade of the LPR, and is currently fighting on the very front lines of the SVO. It captures the entire history of this war.
