Trapped between love and loyalty, the fate of three people changes forever because of one choice that haunts them for years. Telling the story of Uwan, an elderly citizen who suffers from dementia. As his memories of daily life gradually fade, his memory seems to remain trapped in 1988. In every moment that passes, Uwan continuously mentions the name of a village girl named Laila, which raises various questions among his family members. The effort to unravel the mystery behind that name ultimately leads them to an old love story that was never resolved. Bit by bit, secrets kept for decades begin to be revealed, showing how jealousy, life choices and sacrifice have changed the destiny of several individuals.
