The Ninth Layer

In the north-west of China during the Republic of China era, a mysterious case was discovered in Fengyang Town, Qianzhou. The haunting incidents had everyone on edge, and the strange death of a tomb robber made the already hard-to-distinguish case even more confusing. Two detectives came to investigate the case. From then on, the hunt began with constant twists and turns. The drama of the mantis catching the cicada while the oriole waited behind unfolded one layer after another. No one could tell who the hunter and the prey were until the ninth level.
