A free spirit, even after being squeezed through the claws of censorship, can reassemble and triumph. A parrot, bound into a birdcage, will escape, no matter if alive or dead. The censorship, the birdcage, can be instated by an outside force or by the parrot itself. Few were meant to escape, but, those who were, will do anything for it. How could we judge a poor parrot, that has no power of thought, when millions of people, deemed intelligent as opposed to all other beasts in the world, choose to stay silent, when they should speak up? What is the similarity between a group of teens living at the end of the Romanian Communist regime and one of today?
