Adam, a popular college student and debate champion, enjoys participating in marathons. Hawa, Adam's neighbor, has long harbored feelings for Adam ever since he saved her from drowning 18 years ago. However, following the death of Hawa's father, her mother Suzana is reluctant to maintain close contact with Adam's family, despite Adam's father, Zul, making several attempts to approach her. Hawa believes that she and Adam are destined to be together, but they rarely communicate. Hawa is a quiet girl who likes the color black, unusual makeup, and music.
