On his journey home to his village, he hitches a ride with a girl named Elly who has run away from home. They are both without direction. But during the journey, he faces moments of distress. There they begin to understand each other and find direction in their lives. Ajis arrives in his hometown. Elly continues her endless journey. Ajis is told that his wife Halimah has passed away. His two children have been given to others and Haryati, the girl Ajis had wronged, has died from bleeding. Ajis's return has sparked conflict over the division of inheritance.
