The story follows Zehan (Nur Fazura), a successful TV producer, and Arman (Amir Rezazadeh), a food entrepreneur from Iran who have just gotten married and are now traveling to the Middle Eastern country for their honeymoon to create a romantic experience in this new phase of their lives. However, their first night experience does not go as expected. Both of them begin to realize each other's shortcomings, and because of small matters, Zehan and Arman start to question whether their decision to marry was made too hastily. The next day, Zehan and Arman try to reconcile, but both seem uncomfortable and the joy they desired does not materialize. Arman then brings Zehan to his village to introduce her to his grandmother. Although Zehan's presence is warmly welcomed by Arman's grandmother, cultural and language differences make communication difficult between them. Zehan then tries to win Arman's grandmother's heart by preparing a special traditional Iranian dish, 'Ghormeh Sabzi'.
