Bella pursues her dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur, starting with a sewing machine gift from Auntie Chan, the mother of her best friend, Alex. Bella often brings home fabric scraps from Auntie Chan's tailor shop and sews clothes for herself. Bella is successfully accepted to university and receives sewing orders to sustain her living. Bella makes a drastic decision to marry Alex while still studying. They face hardship again when Bella gives birth to a child and they cannot afford to buy milk for their baby. Bella creates a clothing design that receives widespread acclaim. Bella is forced to take on many orders until her fingers become swollen and she cannot attend her exams. However, thanks to Bella and Alex's determination, they eventually succeed in building their own business empire.
