Mat Kilau

It tells the story of a Malay hero Mat Kilau together with his father Tok Gajah and his friends, rising up against British colonial rule. Mat Kilau is set in the year 1892 when the British colonial forces had occupied the lands in Pahang. The British exploited the natural resources of Pahang belonging to the Malay people and interfered with the customs and religion of the Malays. Unwilling to allow British atrocities to run rampant in Pahang, Mat Kilau, Tok Gajah and his friends rise up against the British. The wisdom of Mat Kilau and Tok Gajah in planning their resistance has caused the British to face pressure and losses, resulting in fierce battles.
