"Ereze" tells the story of Aibek, a teenager from a Kyrgyz village near the Tajik border, raised by his grandmother. After his grandmother's death, Aibek sets out to fulfill her last wish—to be buried next to her late husband, but the cemetery now lies on the other side of the new border. Aibek's personal loss intertwines with political division, revealing a coming-of-age story shaped by divided land, memory, and the search for one's inner spiritual core.
