Reiji Kanzaki is a wildly popular actor who has made a career out of starring in classic, sparkling romantic comedies. However, as he turns 30, he begins to grow weary of the genre and wants to be recognized for his acting skills in serious dramas. Just as he plans to make a career shift, he receives another offer to star in a rom-com, this time opposite the earnest idol Misato Minamikaze. The film follows their clash of ideals, professional struggles, and the romantic sparks that fly between them.
