Free climbing is considered one of the most difficult and beautiful sports. To overcome the vertical, strength, intelligence, determination and an immense will to conquer the wall are required. Climbers have the most versatile body and Philippe Ribiere is one of them. But Philippe is different from other climbers. His story begins in 1977 in the city of Fort de France on the island of Martinique. He was born to a Jewish mother and an African father. He was the fruit of forbidden love. His parents abandoned him at birth in the hospital, where he spent the next four years. He was born with Rubenstein-Taby syndrome. His body was severely disfigured at birth. In four years in the hospital, he underwent 21 surgeries on his arms and legs. Philippe spent most of his life alone.
