This half-hour film attempts to recreate the play "The Inspector General", one of the most perfect creations of the genius Vsevolod Meyerhold. Vidas Siliunas provides a captivating account of this production, interspersed with fantasies on the theme of Meyerhold's "The Inspector General", created by Valery Fokin and actors from the Oleg Tabakov Theatre, as well as short video clips miraculously preserved from the original 1926 production.
