This is the debut work of “Wosaka,” the globally popular character from the Republic of Tuktue, and the masterpiece of director Nomura Fusso, known as the ”father or mother of stop-motion animation.” The protagonist, Nomura, is an ordinary office worker at a company that manufactures adhesive bandages. One day, a face named Wosaka appears on the sole of her foot and starts moving around as it pleases. Wosaka puts on a suit, Nomura is forced to put on a shoe on her face, and they head to work upside down. As a result, the city descends into chaos! What is Wosaka’s purpose? Can Nomura return to normal?
