In her mid-thirties, Haerim, a Korean woman recently divorced, arrives in Paris with Suyoung, the six-year-old daughter she has taken from her ex-husband after a custody conflict. With limited money and no legal protection, Haerim impulsively decides to retrace a journey she once made in her youth — from Paris to the coastal town of Étretat — believing that movement itself might offer refuge.
