
The story is set in Japan several years from now. The government has decided to experimentally establish "euthanasia special zones." The protagonists are rapper Shotaro Sako, who has been diagnosed with an incurable disease with no hope of recovery and only six months to live, and his partner, journalist Ayumi Fujioka. Opposed to the euthanasia law, the couple decide to move into the national strategic special zone, the "euthanasia special zone," with the aim of exposing the state of the special zones from the inside.
