A man recounts his days in Paris to a woman who is no longer by his side. He spends his days in museums and wandering the streets, and his nights with different women. As images of everyday life blur into the stories he constructs in his mind, the distance between himself and the world he inhabits steadily widens. He finds himself caught between the desire to reach another person and the inability to belong fully to any place or anyone.
