Laleh is a wandering girl who is arrested after a robbery at a railway station and promises the police officer that she will live a righteous life from now on. A young worker named Parviz tries to convince Laleh to marry him. But Laleh is against the marriage proposal, because she has to take care of her mother and father, who are always drunk. The owner of the house where Laleh's family lives convinces Laleh's father to consent to his daughter's marriage to Abbas.
