Pont du Gard

Documentary

In a sun-drenched garrigue, the Gardon shapes a wild landscape where life adapts to its whims. Two thousand years ago, the Romans challenged this untamable river by building the Pont du Gard, a true masterpiece of engineering. A symbol of human mastery over nature, the structure has nevertheless blended into its surroundings over time. Gradually, plants and animals colonized its stones, transforming this ancient monument into an incredible haven for Mediterranean biodiversity. This film will be shown alongside The Birds in a single screening.
