Hanae and Choko are sisters living in a rural town, known far and wide for their industrious nature; Hanae runs a local *snack* bar, while Choko works as a barber. One day, Teruhiko—Hanae’s first love—appears at her bar. Years ago, Hanae had moved to Tokyo after a falling-out with her father, and Teruhiko had followed her there; however, after making a fortune in the city, Hanae had returned home—missing him in the process—to open her own business.
