Water sustains; its absence extinguishes vitality. In the remote Gobi Desert, a mother and a son make their living herding camels. Their wells have dried up, leaving them without fresh drinking water. The two fight for their lives by digging a dried-up well, but there's only enough water for the livestock. Desperate for water, the mother resorts to selling her body. They continue digging, and finally, water emerges.
