Eric, a lonely blind man, makes an unknown birthday wish. As he arrives at his monotonous call center job, he begins to realize he is hearing the audio description for the film. [For those unaware, audio description is a basic narrative audio track added to a film to describe visual activity to visually impaired audience members]. The audio describer, Duncan, is shocked by this as well, but Eric wants him gone. Duncan reveals he can’t leave until the film’s plot is completed- finding Eric a friend. The two work together to find Eric a friend. After continually failing, but having fun doing so, Eric realizes Duncan has become a good friend.
