Hello. A dear friend of mine has passed away. He worked for a major company, had a wife and children, and owned a house in the suburbs. He was the picture of happiness. He was diagnosed with cancer last spring. We kept in touch, but our conversations grew longer and longer, and finally, his wife contacted me to tell me that he had passed away. Since it was his funeral, I visited his house after the service and offered incense. He and I were friends from my hometown, so we didn't have much contact as adults. However, about two years ago, we met at a mini-reunion-like drinking party, and I told him about my current job for the first time. I sell adult videos. I remember seeing a change in his serious-looking eyes. Since our school days, he was a cool guy who was good at both academics and sports, and I had little presence, so we didn't have much in common and we didn't have much to talk about.
