Geert Chatrou whistles his way through life, both literally and figuratively speaking. In 2004 and 2005, he won the world whistling championships in the United States without a single instrument accompanying him. To his amazement, his improvised rendition of Star-Spangled Banner got him a standing ovation. After his American triumph, Chatrou made the rounds of all sorts of concerts and events, such as the Bühnebal celebration in Germany, where he performed a piece by Vivaldi. Director Jasper ten Berge, a student at the Utrecht School of Arts, focuses on Chatrou's sunny disposition in this short documentary, and joins him on a trip to Krakow. Chatrou's amazing talent revealed itself at an early age - when he heard music, he whistled along, anytime and anywhere.
