Carag’s battle against Andrew Milling enters its decisive phase: After being elected governor, Milling uses his “day of reckoning” to carry out a smear campaign, sowing discord between humans, animals, and Woodwalkers—putting them all in danger. When Carag fails to convince either the Council or his family and friends to reveal the Woodwalkers’ greatest secret—their very existence—in order to expose Milling and bring about peace, he decides to single-handedly strip Milling of his ability to shapeshift, only to lose his own in the process. A race against time begins to save Clearwater High and stop Milling once and for all!
