Memo is a young man dragging the aftermath of a tremendous loss that's left him depressed and practically chained to his living room sofa. His cousin Lily has moved in with her unemployed actor boyfriend "Fede" to keep the home afloat and look after Memo. As the burden is becoming too hefty to bear, Lily reaches out to her previous boss and helps Memo land a job at a local supermarket where Memo meets Frankie, a gay cashier who lives on the edge, and Marie, who's a gentle soul and is immediately drawn to him. Through them and the sonorous memories of a tragic event, Memo will have to face a haunting past that won't deliver him, a dreadful present and an uncertain future.
