Documentary about the caiçaras, inhabitants of the coast of the state of São Paulo whose origins must be found in a mixture of indigenous, black and Portuguese people who give rise to a culture with very particular customs, ways of life and music. The film tells the story of a group of musicians, mostly elderly, who belong to one of the caiçara communities that inhabit the island of Ilhabela, on the Brazilian coast of São Paulo.
