In your job as a detective sergeant in the crime squad, you are called upon to investigate what the press are fast terming "The Vera Cruz affair". Prostitute Vera Cruz lies sprawled on the floor. The more observent among you will have noticed the pool of blood that has poured from a bullet wound in her chest. It is believed to be a case of suicide but you have to prove that this was murder. If you can bear to go past the beautiful girl, you are returned to HQ where the telex machine is used to gain information about possible suspects.
