The object of this telephone survey was to determine the strength of nationalism in Canada and to explore the reaction of Canadians to the question of annexation to the United States. Items included opinions on Canadian versus American ways of life, support for political union with the United States, support for economic or commercial union with the United States, American companies and investment in Canada, military alliances involving American arms on Canadian soil, and demographic data.
