Albert is a German man searching Italy for love and only finding lovers. Of course, he isn't sure what love really is; he is just romantic. He returns to Germany and discovers Elena, a Sardinian waitress. When she returns to Sardinia he follows her there, with hopes that his dreams will be fulfilled.
