San Diego, California is known for its beauty. Now, it will be known for monsters, death, and an inexplicable, impossible fog. Bjorn Christensen--known to everyone as Tank--and his friends are led to a stunningly beautiful mid-rise building in downtown San Diego. They join a retirement party for the architect who designed the structure. It's a black-tie affair, something new for Tank. It should be fun. It was--until the fog rolled in, a fog unlike any other. There are things in the fog. Ugly things. Vicious things. Things that can swim through the mist. Things that kill whatever they find. Tank soon realizes the fog is rising and bringing death with it . To save the others, he may have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
